Conduct seamless bank transfers in Accoxi
Bank transfer is a method of electronic funds transfer from one person or entity to another. Transferring money from the bank account is usually fast, free, and safer than withdrawing and paying in cash.
Accoxi offers a streamlined solution for businesses to record bank-to-bank transactions efficiently. Within Accoxi's intuitive interface, users can seamlessly initiate and document transfers between different bank accounts. This feature facilitates the recording of essential transaction details such as the transfer date, amount, source, and destination accounts. By inputting this information accurately, users ensure that their financial records remain precise and up-to-date.

Key features of Bank Transfer:-
Open the Accounts module, click on Banking and select the Bank Transfer option.
When clicking on the bank transfer option, it opens into a new transfer form.

Description |
1. Filter |
The filter of transactions can be done in two ways-Either you can directly enter the transaction type into the search bar near the filter option or by clicking the filter dropdown. Users can filter the data by transaction type, ledger name, ref no, canceled, or date. If the transaction data can filter by using the date format, need to enter the starting date and the end date of the transactions. Data filter by transaction type include sales invoices, purchase invoices, bills, debit notes, credit notes, etc.

2. Refresh |
If the latest data is not displayed, click on the refresh icon on the top left corner of the page to fetch the new data.

3. +New Bank Transfer |
The +new bank Transfer is for users to conduct bank transfers and takes the user to the Bank transfer creation window
|
4. Export |
The transfer list can be exported to Excel format. Click the Export button at the top right corner near the +New Bank Transfer button. Select the file location and click on save.

5. ledger View |
the Transfer made can be viewed in ledger format displaying the ledger accounts present in the transaction |
6. View |
The view menu enables the user to view the Transfer contra invoice that has already been created. |
7. More options |
This Menu Includes An Edit Function And If The User Wants To Edit The Created Form, It Can Be Done By Using This Menu. After Clicking The Edit Option, The Invoice Form Will Appear On The Screen. |
8. Cancelled Transfer Invoice |
The canceled Bank transfer invoice are to be shown in red |
9. Pagination Control |
It Controls The Page Navigation And The Page Size. Page Size Can Be Set To 10, 20, 50, Or 100. And By Giving The Page Number In The Box And Clicking On The Go Button. It Jumps To The Said Page. |

Ref Number |
The reference number helps the user to add a unique no to the transaction. It will be automatically generated and the user cannot edit the same.

Instrument type |
Users need to select an instrument type. It includes cash, bank transfer, cheque, etc. The user needs to enter the instrument number, instrument date, and bank name in the case of every instrument type payment excluding cash payment.

Date |
The date will automatically appear on the date field and it may be the current date. If the user wants to change the date, it can be done by clicking on the date menu and can be selecting the required date. |
Party Name |
User can enter a party name on this field. |
Narration |
Here user can add additional explanation regarding the bank transfer |
From Bank Account |
Users can select a bank account on this field and the amount will transfer from the selected bank. If the user wants to create a new bank with a bank name, then it can be done with this page. Users can add or create a new bank name by clicking the menu + on the right side of the bank account option.

Bank Name |
I f the user selects instrument type cash, then not need to enter the bank name on this field. Users need to enter the bank name details based on instrument type excluding in the case of cash.

Instrument Number |
The user needs to enter the instrument number in the case of every instrument type Banking transfer excluding cash transfer.

Instrument Date |
The user needs to enter the instrument date in the case of every instrument type transfer excluding cash.

To Account |
Users can select the To Bank account on this field and the amount will transfer to the selected bank. By clicking on the field, created Bank accounts will appear and the user can select the required one. |
Narration |
Here user can add additional remark regarding the bank transfer. |
Amount |
Enter the required amount that the user wants to transfer to this field.. |
Delete |
This menu helps the user to delete the unnecessary entered account details from the row. |
Save as Draft |
After entering the transfer details, the user can save the bank transfer form as a draft. If the user selects the draft format, then the user can select it from the accounts transactions and can verify it again or can edit before it saves as a voucher.

Save |
Users can save the created Bank transfer form as a voucher by clicking the menu Save as Voucher.

Clear |
The clear menu is for clear or removing the entire data that entered by the user.

Exit |
Exit menu is using to go to the previous page without saving the Bank transfer form..

After saving the Banking transfer form, the Accounts Search page will appear on the screen, a saved form will appear on Accounts Search and the user can view or edit the created transfer form.

3. History |
This menu helps the user to obtain the history details of the Bank Transfer. OPTIONS AVAILABLE IN THE HISTORY WINDOW

4. VIEW JOURNAL |
It is the menu that shows the journal view of the transaction. The Journal view shows both debit and credit aspects of the amount. |
5. Edit |
The Edit menu helps the user to edit or correct the details that are entered in the transfer. |
6. Export to PDF |
If the user wants to convert the transfer to PDF format, then the export to PDF option is available. After clicking export to pdf, a save as directory option will appear and the user can opt the pdf file saving location |
7. Print |
The print menu helps the user to print the Withdrawal if required. After clicking the print button it will redirect to print options where the user can select the printer, number of copies to take etc. |
8. More Features |
In the More features option user can cancel the transfer. By clicking cancel, a validation message will pop up. Then click “YES” to cancel the transfer and click “NO” to cancel and close the option. |
9. Pagination control |
It controls the page navigation and the page size. Page size can be set to 10, 20, 50 or 100. By giving the page number in the box and clicking on Go button, it jumps to the said page.

Go to Accounts Module and under Transactions head the Bank Transfer vouchers can be viewed.
You cannot delete a transaction once created. It can only be cancelled.
